Potato Cheese Balls


Potato Cheese Ball is a quick easy snack made with a minimum number of ingredients. The cheese cube is covered with mashed potatoes and deep-fried in hot oil. Can be best served as an evening snack. Image Courtesy - Fun Food Frolic

    1 tsp Chilli flakes, red

    1 tsp Garlic powder

    1 tsp Oregano, dried

    4 Potato

    1/4 cup Water

    1 tsp Black pepper

    5/16 cup Cornstarch

    1 Salt

    Cheese cubes

    1 cup Bread crumbs

    2 1/2 cup Cooking oil

  • 1Boil the potatoes. Clean and mash them without lumps.

    2Add 3 tbsp of bread crumbs and herbs to it

    3Mix it together and make a ball.

    4Divide the mixture into small balls.

    5Season the cheese cubes with desired herbs

    6Take a potato mixture ball and flatten it

    7Place the seasoned cheese cube on it and roll up the potato mixture gently.

    8Add water to corn starch and mix well

    9Dip the ball in corn starch and roll them in bread crumbs.

    10Deep fry potato balls in hot oil.

    11Fry until golden and crisp.
