Chilli Chicken


Chilli Chicken is always there in your pick when you go to a restaurant. Add a Chinese twist to your menu with this easy Chilli Chicken recipe.

    For Marination

    Chicken- 1 kg


    Corn flour-8 tbsp

    Salt-To taste

    Eastern Chilli Chicken Masala-3 tbsp

    For Gravy

    Green chilli(chopped)-2 nos

    Ginger (chopped)-1 piece

    Garlic (chopped)-6 flakes

    Eastern Chilli Chicken Masala-2 tbsp

    Soya sauce-3 tbsp

    Chilli sauce-1 tbsp

    Tomato sauce-4 tbsp

    Onion (cut in to cubes)-2 nos

    Capsicum(cut in to cubes -1/2 nos

  • 1Marinate chicken with marination ingredients

    2Keep it for 10-15 minutes

    3Heat oil in a pan

    4Sauté ginger, garlic and green chilli

    5Add 2 tbsp of Eastern Chilli Chicken Masala and sauté well

    6Heat pan and deep fry in heated oil

    7Add in 2 tbsp of tomato sauce, soya sauce to it

    8Add 750ml of water

    9Stir well and cook for 10 mins

    10Meanwhile heat another pan and deep fry marinated chicken

    11Add fried chicken to the boiling gravy and cook for 5 minutes

    12Sauté onion and capsicum in little oil and add it to the gravy

    13Remove from fire after gravy is thickened

    14Serve hot

    Cooking Tips

    Mix corn flour in 100 ml of water and add to the gravy to make dry chilli chicken
