Every woman has the strength and innate potential to scale new heights, to achieve something in their respective field. They inspire others through their deeds as well as actions but their struggles, tolerances generally go unnoticed and unrecognized . There are a majority of women who support, lead, work 24 x 7 x 365 days. They remain silent however communicate strongly through their act of love and compassion. Many of us owe our success to these silent powers.

Eastern is honouring these women in a special way. One can nominate their special woman who inspired and motivated them. Be it one’s mother, wife, daughter ,sister, friend, boss, neighbour, colleague, teacher or any one whom one feels made a difference to the life of others or society at large.

Nabeesa Meeran, Director, Eastern Group, is leading the campaign. Nabeesa, who continues her meritorious service to the teaching profession, is also the chief of Eastern’s educational institutions.

Based on the write up of 60 words and a paragraph of that woman posted by various participants through mails and social media , a panel will select those special women. Selected women will be honoured and awarded in the presence of eminent personalities at a prestigious venue of Lucknow, Agra, Varanasi, Chennai, Bangalore,Cochin,Hyderabad simultaneously on March 2018.

It is a matter of pride that out of 47 per cent employees of Eastern, 22 per cent are in management positions. Eastern-Bhoomika initiative during this Women’s Day honours extraordinary women who have achieved success in life with their determination and self-confidence.
